January 2024:

  • fileServersNG updated for the latest Alfresco 23.1 release - the fileServersNG AMP has been renamed to fileserversng-yy.r.AMP, where 'yy' is the release year and 'r' is the release number for that year. The latest fileserversng-24.1.AMP is available here, and supports Alfresco versions from 6.2, 7.x, up to the latest 23.1.

December 2023:

  • fileServersNG all versions - updated v6.2+ version to use the latest JFileServer Enterprise code, pre-built v1.0.18 AMPs available here (for Alfresco versions 6.2 to 7.4), added support for Alfresco 7.4 logging, updated use of file state cache, file sharing and opportunistic lock handling.
  • JFileServer 1.3.16 released - Updates to file sharing checks and opportunistic lock handling, used by Microsoft Office and other applications.
    Many updates due to testing using the Microsoft Windows Protocol Test Suite (available here)
  • JFileServer Enterprise 1.2.16 released - Changes to opportunistic lock handling. Many updates due to testing with Microsoft Windows Protocol Test Suite.

May 2023:
